Tire sizes for stock wheel rims

Would like to know what Tire sizes will fit on a 09 LX Fit.
It is the Stock Base 15 inch rim.
I don't want tire brands yet, unless only that brand and make of tire in that size will fit.

I thank those who know more about this than me.

I know 175/65-15 is the stock tire size. But what else can fit on there?

185/60-15 or 205/55-15 are within 1%.

I have 195/60-15's and they are within 2%, with even enough room for snow "chains" (required by my state for Winter driving). Tire selection in that size is huge.

Stock rim is 15x6"

175/65-15 fits rims 5 to 6" wide, tire diameter is 24".
84 load rating, H speed rated.

When looking for other tire sizes you want the tire to fit the rim width, be at least 84 load rated or higher, at least H speed rated or better (W,V or Y OK) and have a tire diameter of 24" or slightly less is OK. If you choose a tire too small or tall in diameter it may affect the speedometer or odometer accuracy.
Also too tall a tire reduces wheel gap and clearance, and raises center of gravity and lifts the ride height.

Many owners will choose a tire that is wider but still works for street use.

185/60-15 fits rims 5-6.5", tire diameter 23.7"
195/60-15 fits rims 5-7", tire diameter 24.2"
205/55-15 fits rims 5.5-7.5", tire diameter 23.9"

Note that wider tire sizes increase rolling resistance but help with better cornering and performance.

For street use with emphasis on comfort, higher mpg and lower noise-
Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 (Grand Touring All Season tire)
$81 each, 185/60-15, 16 lbs, T speed rated (still possible to use for streets)
