sport fit tires

I have a 2010 fit sport with 16" factory alloy rims, 185/55. Can that rim fit a 50 series tire and maintain the same height? 205/50? will changing the tire size effect anything?

Lots of people run that size and say it's fine--that their speedo is even more accurate with that size. You may see a 1mpg loss and depending on if you get rims in the future and/or drop your car, there may be some rubbing issues--but that's a big if. Most likely, you'll be ok

205/50R16 is the recommendation for Mugen XJ wheel which is 16 x 6.5J. So 205/50R16 tires should fit to OEM Sport weels with 0.2% off at speedometer.
