Question B.F. Goodrich g-Force Sport vs. Good Year GT Tires

Has anyone here had these tires on their Fit? If so what are they like noise and grip wise? I see were a couple of us have had the Good Year Eagle GT tires and liked them.

Cool Tire School

Well it's been a real learning exp. with these 2 dif. Tires. I started out looking at the tread pattern- Haha. After some research the BF is summer only with high traction and high tread wear! Worst was 8k miles! But that was a subi turbo.... like Ken Block
The GY is an all season high traction tire with very good wet traction and light snow and slush drivability and up to 40K milage!
Tire Rack (Eagle GT 195/60/15) gets them to my door for 313.88 + 20.00=293.88 off if there bought before 4/3/10.
Now the installation is another schooling all by it's self. 14.50 to mount and ballance, 2.00 disp. fee, and this is what kills me because we have the TPMS on '08 and up there is a 10.00 fee to mount the tires add all that up and it's 106.00. With everything it 's 399.88 still way cheaper than what I was quoted from Merchant's Tires here @ home 125. per tire X4=500.00 and they were still not done with the hidden charges! At the 500 dollar quote I thanked them for their time and wished them a good evening.
Anybody else have a tire exp. story with their Fit?

OP, not sure if you made a decision or not, but if you're seriously considering getting the Eagle GT's in 195/60 I would highly recommend considering a 205/50 if you ever push your car at all, those tires have a lot of sidewall give to them.

A note on the G-Forces as you've already discovered, they're summer only (my 1 snow experience was horrid). But the grip they provide when the conditions are right was superb. If you're seriously considering summer only tires I'd advise either those or Dunlop z1 star specs.

I went with the Eagle GT's and like them alot! As gd3vbp said if your really carving up the turns, go with the 50 profile. I'm after grip, good look, load capacity and mpg O' ya price too. If you go with 50 or lower profile then the mounting price went up and tire price, at least at the time I bought in April. I paid less than 400 for everything and recieved a 20.00 rebate to boot!
Good Luck on what ever you pick.
PS They are heavier than the Dunlops/ stockers.
