Hey guys...

So, I just found out that I need to get a car--for my quasi step daughter. (long story, not her fault at all)
Anyways, so here's what I'm looking for--been checking out craigslist...but wanted to see if you guys knew someone, etc. etc.

Honda Product (civic or accord preferred)
2 or 4 door
auto or 5spd
any color
DX, HX, LX, EX (whatever really)
in good running condition, a/c, tires good, etc.
Looking to spend around $2000.

a car to get around in. She's 16 and has been driving for about 7 months but her dad is taking away the car he gave her in exchange for babysitting all summer because he has lost his car (repo) and got a new job farther away. And so, she needs something to get her back and forth to school, and if I'm paying for most of it...I want it to be a Honda. She's ok with that. As long as it looks decent and drives good, she couldn't care less. She's coming from a 92 Mazda 626 that has a nasty and smelly interior.

and for you better than ezra you can ger her a 90-93 Accord in good shape for that price. Just keep up the maintenance and nothing to worry about.

 

What a freakin weekend...girl was down from Lubbock and when she went back on the bus yesterday (she left at 7:45am) she didn't get home till 10:15pm! Bus got stuck in consrtuction traffic for a lil over 3 hours

Houston AutoRama was a dang good showing. Just a good ole day to kick it with the guys.

 

I know someone selling a 94 miata auto with a/c. It's not in that 2k price range though.

 

check listings for san antonio on craigslist. i know there was a 96 civic for 1600 120,000 miles pretty nice no wrecks auto and it was a DX
