AWWWWWWW she's PRECIOUS! Is she your first? If so, double congrats, the first one is so special and wonderful! (I'm a second child so no big shakes...ha ha).
Sorry about your car, I wouldn't have thought a possum would do that! Stupid animals. Too bad it didn't at least put the thing out of its misery.
Enjoy your new baby!

Camping
Planning a camping/road trip in our little red 07 Fit. Can't wait, but wondering about installing luggage rack or bag on top for our tent. Any suggestions for maximizing cargo for a long trip?

It all depends, how many passengers, whats your longest item, how many items you got. I know when I pack my car up, I try to raise my rear seats up because I get a lot more room vertically than I do trying to lay the seats down. So if you got a lot of luggage and 2 passengers, you can still raise the big side of the rear seat up and stack up the luggage there and still have room for 2 people to sit. Of course you still have room in the back hatch area to fill up.

They don't call it a Fit for nothing...
Yeah, probably better to just cram everything into car, rather than on top. Tent, cooler will be biggest items, and as my son likes to say, they don't call it a fit for nothing! We have managed some mighty big payloads so far, 8-foot lumber, no problem. I tested it out and can stretch out in back when seats down, but can't get my 6-foot husband to try it out! Will just be two passengers and camping equipment, it'll FIT.

I'm getting my friend to roll mine. New wheels are in, needing tires.
