Well after a long hard week of looking for houses, it looks like I'm going to be unable to set up/attend the Austin meet if held in February. We are having to pinch every penny we can to get ready for the purchase of our first home and spending the weekend in Austin is not in the budget. At least, not any time soon. I may be able to set up something come summer time, but I will not know for sure until after we have found the house and "house note" that's right for us. I am so sorry for those of you who have been waiting on me to get this meet rolling, but life has thrown me a curve ball that I'm trying to catch at just the right time.

ok no prob. If thats the case then why not just plan a meet in houston. I know we just did one there. But I'd still like to have a get together for our "birthdays" as it were. Just a thought. Even if it was just to get together have a barbeque photo shoot and shoot the breeze. Hang out throwback a few drinks maybe. Nothing crazy. We don't have to go karting or anything. I'd just like to get together. For an afternoon. Know what i mean? Call it a meet if you like. But its just a planned BBQ/get together. If we get 10 fits i'd be happy. And we could make it fun.

Edit: BTW i hope you guys find a nice place. I'll be prayin for you

Alright, good news for Jason, bad news for us lol. Me and Adam will try to figure out something for February. It will most likely be in Houston. Hopefully the weather is going to start to warm up a little. I'll ask around to help find a place to meet. Or if it's cool, go to one that is already set-up like Houston-imports or Honda-tech meets. If there is any. Suggestions are welcome, need opinions.

Well most of the Houston BBQ meets are held at Bear Creek Park. The Honda-Tech meet was hosted there and most recently there was one thrown in December. Heres some pictures of the last meet that was just recently thrown there...

Yea it don't matter most of the parks around here are about the same. I have been to a few meets and they turn out pretty cool. I usually would bring my own stuff as far as grilling up grub, not a fan of the public pits. But yea, I like bear creek because it has a few pavillions in case of rain. And there was a meet awhile back I can't remember the name of it but Jason "Saved" knows where this was the "DA" meet that was near Nasa Rd. behind the Garden Ridge. That park was pretty chill too. I think ya'll need to try to get a roll call going and set a date! I agree with toepher 10 or more fits would be sweet! If anyone were to come down on a Friday Houston Motorsports Park has the run what you brung night and got 1/8 mile drag racing. Pretty dope if anyone of ya'll were to want to come in early and have the meet on a Sat. Just a thought.
