Mopac westbound around 5:30 today. Black GE with black wheel, black license plate and it looked lowered. Wonder who it was?

Well I've decided to keep my Fit. Let the modding resume! I just bought some i-Vtec DOHC decals to put on the lower part of my rear doors. I might try plasti-dipping my Sport grill (and possibly the front and rear Honda logo too!). Rims coming in a few months followed by spoiler and exhaust.

PS. Fit Meet! Now!

Guys I could use some advice. I'm looking at Rims right now for my Fit. Right now I've got my eyes on these:

16 x7 4x100 Drag 4 Lug DR16 Black Wheels Rim Center Cap | eBay

Now I'm a complete noob when it comes to tires. What tire size do I need to fit these? I plan on dropping my Fit in the future, likely with Swifts.

205/45/16
195/50/16
195/45/16

I personally would go with 205/45/16. I'm sure others will agree and disagree with what I posted

I agree and disagree with what you posted... I have 205-50-16s and like everything about them except for the way the weight of them hampers acceleration.. Personally I believe I would prefer the 195-45-16s but only until I was on a very twisty road, then I would prefer the same 205-45-16 as is your preference.

I'd consider running 195/50R16s if you want to have minimal chances of tire rub once lowered since it is slightly smaller than stock Overall Diameter. Some other sizes to consider would be 195/55R16 (taller than stock O.D.) and 205/50R16 (near stock O.D.).

The 205/50s would be the better choice if you want your speedometer as accurate as possible and/or if you want wider tire that you can comfortably run and not have to worry too much about fender modifications too much aside from maybe having to tuck fender liners or trim the rear bumper's inner tabs. In addition to that, 205/50R16s have a pretty wide selection when it comes to tire choices on Tire Rack.

not bad set of cheapies. XXR makes a lot of cheap wheels and so does ESM or varstoen. My personal favorite lookin cheapies....
XXR 531 Wheels - Brand new rims for 2012

As for tire sizing, anything 205 is good. the 50 and 45 is the overall height of the tire. 50 might be better since your wheel well is larger than GD's.

Decided that I'm going to plasti-dip my front grill (haven't decided on matte or gloss) and possibly gloss plasti-dip the emblems. Plasti-dip the silver wings a matte black with a blue strip down the center with gloss black/blue emblem.

Feedback?

^Agreed, the more simple, the better.

Matte/Gloss black on the sport grill would look nice though, but I'd keep the H emblem chrome to contrast and keep it looking clean.

Plastidip is easy. I did my lip like that. It's great against rock chips. Murder out the car! That's a great look always.

I've always liked the look of an all black car with smoked headlights , taillights and dark window tint...It's a classic look like a traditional black leather motorcycle jacket, British Commando Knife, or a shapely lady in a little black dress...Screw all of those that say that the look is played out...

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Hootie and all of the other Texas Crew.... Hootie, How do you think I'd look with dreadlocks??? I have been thinking of something different to do to rattle the cages of the East Texas status quo and that would do it...

It would be interesting to see, I'd do it though its a pain to get started though.

In fact, I'm trying start my dreads off again but work doesn't help since I have the keep a hat on to look semi-professional and they end up loosening due to it.

Who is the SSM GD3 at UH? Lowered, front lip and greyish TR Motorsports wheels. Always see it at the parking lot across the street from the gym/rec center.

Interesting... Maybe you should further investigate to find out who the owner is.
