He must have taken up playing country music and moved to Nashville... That is about the only reason I can think of that most Texans move to Tennessee.... It is pretty there and the people are friendly, kind of like most of Texas.

I think I am getting too old to get into that kind of driving like I could even a year ago... It's sad too, my car is holding a line better than it ever has.... I just can't seem to steer and remain upright on left hand turns at high speed... I think maybe if I got out and drove more often I'd get use to the changes but maybe it's better if I finish the other changes I need to do first.... If the fat kid down the road really shows up tomorrow I'll get the front coilovers installed followed by under the car braces and then an alignment at his uncles shop.... That kid is great help when he is into it but he is girl crazy and that makes all 14 year old's crazy for about 10 or 12 years or longer.

Thanks, Dee. I've always liked yours a little bit more.

I have a job, so I have some flexibility with my finances now that I've graduated. Hoping to get the GD suspension off (honestly it's too low for me, and can't get it higher on the GE), and get a GE coilover set up. I still want to be lowered, but avoiding all speedbumps and cringing every time there's a dip in the road is not fun. At least I tried the low life.

They're going well. Don't know too many people here, but I look at that as a good thing. I spend enough money on my girlfriend and my car. I miss Texas, that's for sure!

you guys still alive? haven't really been around..still modding the fit. ordering some replacement coilovers today and am about to put my other coilovers i have in the fs section for stupid cheap. only downside is that they need to be rebuilt..just don't have time to do that, so i went ahead and bought new ones instead. they're std (standard) performance coilovers. locally, i'll sell it for $200 picked up in houston or +shipping. i have the original box and keys. they have more than 20k miles on them and need to be rebuilt.

just to give anyone interested in buying and rebuilding them, here are some past pics of what they look like dropped. on the 15's, they weren't lowered all the way..so they can def go like an inch lower from the first pic's stance. on the 17's, they were almost all the way lowered but not necessarily..still had like half an inch to drop which is still a lot for coilovers.

On 15x8 wheels

on 17x7.5 (current setup)

Hmm... What are the spring rates and how adjustable are the dampers (8 click, 12, 16, etc.)?

There are some pics and info on there. Hootie, I can't really remember off the top of my head. I'm at work right now doing a graveyard shift, and everything is at home. I'll get back to you sometime tomorrow, and I'll be posting pics of the actual coilovers sometime tomorrow as well.

Oh Mon Dieu! Qu'elle horreur!

That is HIDEOUS, what did that Fit ever do to deserve such punishment...
