Yeah that will work.. I prefer the look of polished aluminum to chrome myself but it does require a lot of attention.... A bead blasted finish would be unique and probably look great on a white car since it appears somewhat whiter than a polished finish. Just take them to a machine shop or maybe a welding shop that has a bead blasting cabinet..In fact you do not have to remove the anodizing yourself and the finish is harder than a polished surface because the process tends to peen the metal which hardens a little.

A polished aluminum is great, the easiest way to keep those clean is put a clear coat on it after the polish. Although polish is a pain to do, good luck on that.

Palestine is about half way between where Joe and Amanda live and there is a very nice park with very nice scenery,a one way road that winds through it with steep hills and lots of tight curves as well as very scenic farm to market roads... I can almost guarantee that you will see deer and other wildlife as well as fascinating people that will make you think of the movie "Deliverance"... In a few weeks when the trees are green and the dogwood trees are in bloom there is always a big festival in town and at least one car show but the park is the big draw and motorcycles are all over the back roads... The roads and scenery are why I relocated here from Lake Kiowa.

If you do like the guy said they will look as pretty as a brand new Kirby vacuum cleaner or a lower priced Harley.

I was thinking of doing that and then just taking some fine grit on the top section that will show to "polish it up"...does that sound good?

Follow the fine grit sand paper with very fine metal polish and they will look as good as chrome but minus the blue luster and a more white instead.

I'll pick up some locally made muscadine wine... Good stuff and has a pretty good kick.. Not quite as much kick as Mad Dog 20 20 but it is real wine and has a home made flavor.

Ooo, thats a bit too far for a mini meet. I can do Palestine, that's not so life draining on the trip. Is everyone normal day job people? I have Mondays and Tuesdays free as well.
