Its funny you mention that because I may be passing through or around that way after I visiting some family in north Louisiana. Haven't decided yet though.

@ Ray: Say, did you recently add on the sport wing? I'd recall seeing on your Base at the meet.

Hey guys...I'm getting red H's for my centercaps and am thinking about getting new lugs.

Chime in on what color...black or chrome?

Hey Marcus, Your car has always been a very stand out looking creation and always with fabulous wheel but as simple as these are they really top all of the others.. Your car just looks so much cleaner and not as owned by the wheels as it has before.. I am surprised at how much it has changed your car's already outstanding appearance...

Thanks! I wanted something a bit more shiny than my darker wheels. The initial reason was my neighborhood wasn't the greatest so I didn't want wheels that attract thieves as much. It was also wheels that hardly anyone ever uses. I didn't get to achieve the deep concave as I would've liked to because there's just no room under the fenders. All in all, I chose these Enkei's at the end because they were fairly cheap and I can pick them up anytime if I ever damaged one instead of waiting 3 months for another. RPF1's may be on a lot of cars, but its still good lookin. 17's look better than the usual 15's I see lol.

They look better in 17s than they do in 15s... It is hard to imagine a chrome plated wheel that looks tastefully understated but those are a great example of some that are exactly that... Even in the 17" size the RPF1s are light in weight and like you said, they don't cost an arm an a leg... I really can't get over how great they look on your car.

In my honest opinion, I think that either chrome lugs would look good since it would accent the H in your badge and your exhaust.

Black lugs would be good if you want a monochromatic look but on the other hand the black lugs wouldn't really compliment anything and just blend in with the wheel (which is kinda annoying during wheel removal since you can't see them right away )

Here is an example of chrome lugs would look like on a black wheel. Try to disregard my wheel's machined lips.

Chrome plated steel nuts are hard to damage and much stronger than the aluminum alloy ones... I would wait and see how the red ones look with the red on the caps...Let me know when you have them and I can swing over that way and pull 4 lug nuts off of my car so you can make a comparison.

I must say, most red lug nuts are anodized and will turn Pink with the UV rays that we get. Red is a no no if you want it red.

I already have red lugs and they've looked good for about a year but are beginning to fade.

Does anyone have any chrome lugs for aftermarket wheels they want to sell to me cheap?

Just thought someone may have a set laying around they'd be willing to part with for cheap.

either that or I may take my lugs off one by one and see if I can polish them back to chrome, haha!

Think this will work?
