Anybody know the way to take off the rear wiper (GE)? I got the little cover off, the nut, and then I've pulled and pulled, arm up, arm down...it's not budging.
Help?

Those clips are extra hard, I'm sure you just keep pulling down on the piece.

Clips? I'm pulling from the outside. Do I need to release something from the inside? I'm test fitting a CF Garnish.

Usually you remove the inside panel to get to everything. I'm not sure you can do everything from the outside, then people would just steal your stuff.

Hrm. Damn.

Well you can take the front wipers off without getting under the hood ;-)

I'm waiting on a reply from my Honda Parts friend--he's super busy though so I thought I'd check you guys.

I think I read that wrong, The wiper itself should come off with a little force after the nut is off. I was thinking rear wiper delete.

Leave it alone. Boy you should be up here in the winter. You can't see out the back window without a wiper when the roads are covered with slush/salt/sand. Then you wish you had two wipers.

Nah, I'm not deleting--I have to take it off to test fit the carbon fiber garnish.

I will put it back on once I'm done.

Has anyone adjusted their rear window washer before? I don't use mine at all and I'm thinking about adjusting it for tailgaters.

That is a great idea.... A flame shooting out of the exhaust would be even better, just don't try to get me to instruct you how to do it.

The rear wiper, silly. It's proving more difficult.

I actually took off the rear wiper yesterday. After the nut is off, you have to use a little force to get it off. Pull downward with force and it should come off

OK Silly. are you interested in having fire shoot out of your exhaust??? Try placing a sock with some rice to the side of it to use as a fulcrum and use a wooden spoon or spatula as a lever, moving the fulcrum and lever from place to place around it..... I know you don't have those items in your tool box so look in your kitchen. LOL

A red GD pulled up to Food For Thought while I was enjoying a chicken burrito and I thought it was Adam.

btrthnezr3, did you ever get the wiper off? I removed the whole assembly and motor two days ago. The clips for the interior plastic were a pain. All but two came unattached from the body with the plastic piece, but the other two stayed in and were incredibly difficult to remove.

Still haven't gotten it off--lol. I guess I need to go out again and just pull hard?

Like I said--I removed the little plastic cover over the nut...then I undid the nut, so pull? I tried a few times but I'm afraid to break something.
