16x8 4x100 38mm offset with 225/50/16 tires.... would not fit on the fit, right? Even if x8 fits (which I don't think it does?) it would rub like a bish, right? RIGHTTTTT?

yeah it would even for a GE8 that is really aggressive. 205 tires rub on GD if i went wider in the front with the tires i would have to raise up my car for sure and would have to run something in a 40 ish offset

well you could buy em and get new tires. 205 45's would work but it would look a lil funny because your car wouldnt be low enough to compensate for the tire

Let's just say i got the 16X8's, recycled the tires and got something from discount tire. What size tire would work?

I like the idea of thicker width wheels, so the 8" are attractive. Want minimal sidewall though.

205 40 would be minimal.

honestly dont really see any point in the 16x8 unless you want it for the "stretch" look

Honeslty, I just like the look of wider wheels. And again, I'd be getting a killer deal on the wheels. I'm dropped on eibach sportlines, you still think 205 40 would make it look funny? I don't really understand stretching either, is that extending the stretching the sidewall over the top?

stretching the tire would be putting a smaller tire on a wider wheel to give it that domed look to fit under the fender. But from the looks of it your car isnt that low and 16 x8 would probably make it annoying to drive because it would rub just during easy driving.

its not really going to look that much different expecially on the RPF1. just think long term, do you want to roll your fenders? 16X8 is a little more forgiving on a GD but not so much on GE

there are deals on RPF1's all over net in 16x7 for around 800-900 depending on who is selling them

It's $650 for brand new wheels and tires that have been on for only 500 miles. Are you sure you'd have to roll the fenders? And if I did, how much would I have to pay someone to do that?

I run 17x8, small stretch and not noticable. 215/40/17. I really think the GE8's are better off with minimum of 16 anyways. 8 wide would only equal rolling the fenders and that would set it.

Sorry to keep this going, but could I stretch without rolling? It would be nice to not have to roll in case I ever did decide to sell...

Excited about the meet. Don't think I'm going to cupcake, because I'm already missing a Baylor home basketball game, and if you know me, that doesn't EVER happen. Got to be back for a friends birthday that night. But a Fit meet in Texas seems to be once in a blue moon.
