Are you just looking for a less noticeable exhaust with more power but yet still quiet?

Exactly.... I have found a muffler I believe called Aero that another person is using and says works really well though not quite as quiet as stock was a very deep rich sound and has proven to increase horsepower on other makes of cars on the dyno.

I am going to stay with the stock system for a while... There are so many things to do performance wise like upping the boost, and funds are always a problem..... I am still considering getting a job delivering pizzas or throwing a paper route for extra cash.

Eh, HKS wasn't very appealing when I installed it on John's Fit. I was like...that's not gonna do anything. The pipe is similar to the size of the stock piping.

I run the Titanium muffler that AJR was selling. Nice tone and not incredibly loud. Although I cant tell anymore because my whole interior is loud. It's also more quiet than Adam's because of my turbo.

Don't you have to die to hear angelic music??? I am really more concerned with performance and not having to spend a whole lot of money... My exhaust with the little glass pack muffler wasn't bad at all until I installed he super charger and drove hours at speeds that I am not supposed to talk about on fitfreak, It was good for over 3 years and I can have a larger glass pack welded in for about $ 50.00 or less at the best muffler shop in town if I start jonesing for more power in the upper rev range.

I did paper routes for years and moved into a district manager position and then division sales manager.... I made big bucks but the hours sucked... I do need to drop off an application to deliver pizzas and see what happens.

Mine's not tolerable for long distances. Must have the music up! Only because the Solid Motor mounts shake everything in the car and thats what makes noise.

It is a rat compared to yours but a real blast to drive.... My friend up that way is too much into self destructive behavior that I am not into so it has been awhile since I have gotten up that way.... I'd like for you to take it for a spin though, it is amazing what even 5 PSI boost and octane booster can do for these little cars.

I was into hotted up air cooled VWs in the 70s and 80s and had one that was pretty much a race car with solid steel transaxle mounts.... The car would appear to be distorted when you would look at it while it was idling.... It would get 2nd gear wheelies also..... Another money pit that caused almost as much trouble for me as the women in my life.... I was fortunate in many ways that it was stolen after spinning a rod bearing after a top end run from Grapevine lake on 121 to I35 in Lewisville where I had to leave it for a few hours and was gone when I returned.... My self destructive buddy in Gun Barrel City was involved in that escapade as he was in so many other acts of insanity that neither of us should have survived..... That Beetle would kick ass on my Fit easily.

i never had to pay more for insurance. meh I'm not sure if you would. I'm big into air cooled beetles. I want to hope up another one but I'd be going down with it for a more slow and low thing as opposed to the fast and furious.

I made a 6 hour drive with no radio and all i had was the music of my exhaust. And I must say at 70mph unless things have changed with the new fit at 3.2k rpm its pretty freakin obnoxious. Like when i get out nothing really sounds i still buzz for about 30 mins.
