I'll go check outside around 3:20...see if we've got any flurries.

I'm excited...but I'm gonna freeze my a$$ off at the Adolphus Parade tomorrow.

BTW, my step daughter will be performing in the parade. She'll be one of the paper raggedy ann dolls...I think they are green, with big rosey cheeks and pig tails! (in case you guys watch the parade)

LOL

I sleep until about 2 for some reason. Normally on a week day i get up at 12. I looked out the window a couple times didn't see anything. Altho someone showed me pictures of flakes in someones hair at baylor. So either they had MAD dandruff or it did snow. But not enough to accumulate from what i saw. Meh not sad i missed it really. HAHA

Plugs are in and didn't have to remove a thing. Buddy of mine with a long reach was able to get all 4 plugs without taking off the assembly at the base of the winshield.

Ran the 35HP about 4 or 5 times. Everything seems to be running well and I love the extra power. Had a date with my girl tonight I had to get ready for, so hopefully gonna be able run 45 and 55 tomorrow.

Pics

Badge switch! Loving the red dot (which bigtoepfer tells me comes from the jazz 1.3L, I think)

This exoctic and rarely seen-on-a-fit system is a nitrous kit. I was very lucky when putting in this kit. The heat shield for my intake is about the only place I could easily mount the management unit. The braided lines going into the unit in the front are fuel and nitrous in, while fuel and nitrous out mix come out the back, wrap around top of the intake pipe and are tapped into the intake.

Notha angle, good shot of the spray nozzle and fuel supply to nitrous/fuel mixture.

From the top

Nice shot of the management unit mount.

Yes, those are zip ties, and yes they will be replaced with something more durable and not as "rigged". Also need to get a rubber fitting to go around the lines to keep them from vibrating at points of contact with other metal pieces.

Bottle, mounted, check. Connection line comes from spare wheel compartment, I leave the bottle disconnected while daily driving.

Hope you enjoyed. Put it in with a buddy of mine, all by ourselves. I'd say total time over the span of a few days took about 8 hours. Neither of us have done an install like this before though, so I was proud of our work. Something nice to know for GE owners, YOU CAN CHANCE SPARK PLUGS WITHOUT REMOVING ANY OF THE ASSEMBLY AT THE BASE OF THE WINSHIELD. Just need to know what you are doing so you can work blind, also helps if you have long arms. I changed out my stock plugs for the Zex cold plugs, a must if running nitrous.

If you have any questions about the install LMK!

I expect the Fast and Furious jabs. Actually, really I'd be disappointed if they didn't come, so bring it!

Yes, you should

I just switched out the nozzles to 45hp shot, and it really pulled. Floored it from the line, flipped the switch at 2,500rpm and it shot up to 6,000rpm real quickly. Feels good to finally have some power in the fit.

Had the check engine light come on, and I lost power at about 70mph from still. I had a leak in the nitrous line because I didn't tighten enough, so I think the fuel/nitrous mixture got too ruch with fuel and as a safety measure fuel supply was cut to keep from backfiring.

Scared me a little bit, but everything still works! lol
