I like the look of the drop and the road feel is greatly improved. The ride quality is very smooth for such a drop but has just enough stiffness to give it quite more bite in the turns. Not too much body roll too. I have to upgrade my tires now to compensate for the increased handling ability. I am autocrossing it next weekend so I can give a full report and pics.

Jits14, what are the specs of your wheels/tires? The drop looks just right.

- How long you have used them
For almost 6 weeks now

- Why you bought them
I see that Tanabe is one of the first company that went ahead and produce a product for the USDM fit... not just shipping the JDM version.

- What you think of them
It's a bit bumpy on rough roads... Will jump on hugh bump at highway speed. Aftermarket shocks are recommended (although stock shocks seems to be fine -for now-).

- Pictures

- If custom wheels and tires, sizes and offsets
All on original setup.

Looks good, but seems like a combination of 16 x 7 (+35mm offset) and 205/45 x 16 will have fender clearance problem with these springs the way your car sits with Tanabe DF210 springs.

Maybe we have to roll the fender lip to provide more clearance in this case.

Or... you can just get higher offset wheels. The Rota's on Jits i believe are +40.

Also, are those work wheels in your avatar? They should have +44 available in 15 and 16"

I was actually on 16 x 7 +38 205/45/16 with those pics and rode that setup for a while. Suprisingly I never once had rub and never did any fender rolling. I have new wheels now and installing them tonight or tomorrow 15 x 7 +17 offset with 195/50/15 and will post results in here with pics. From what I read though is seems to be mostly tire tread choice that affects rub.

Yes, those are Works Emotion CR wheels. Unfortunately, they didn't have +44 offset in stock at that time. I had waited for 40 days for the +44 offset wheels and still hasn't arrived; settled for the +35 instead for now. No rubbing problems when nobody is sitting at the back.

Thanks for the feedback David.

Thanks to Tanabe for putting out AWESOME products!!!!

Both my wife and I were very impressed with these springs. The drop was exactly what we wanted. We both felt the stock suspension was a little rough and bumpy. When we installed the DF210's and took it for the test drive it felt like a completely different car. We would both recommend this set up to anyone. Thanks again Tanabe!!!!!

(Sorry for the dark pics.)
- If custom wheels and tires, sizes and offsets

Falken Azenis RT-615's 205/50/15

Been looking for the "perfect" springs since i bought the car and finally decided to get the DF210's. I've been using it for a week now and i would have to say after the drop, the ride had been really improved. I love the way it looks too.

any of you guys have better pics of the wheel gap? I have had a set of df210s here since december but I am afraid they will lower the car too much. All the pics I have seen have dark shadows around the wheels and I cant get an idea of the gap.

Thanks!!!

i have the same problem with my car. im running 205 45 16s with a 16x7 +40 offset. the wheels rub against the fender wall when i hit a dip at highway speed and when i make a turn hard. is there any suggestion to getting rid of the rubbing other than taking the fenderwell off? will rolling the fenders give more clearance or not? any suggestions are greatly appreciated. i am running these df210s and i dont like the rubbing noise. i do wish the springs were stiffer.

i did think about that. is there 195 45 16 tires? i never asked the tire shop but if i could run those then yea i would. it would be an expensive modification to change new tires but thats wat i get for not researching.
