How To: Skunk2 Mega Power 50mm exhaust

Well it is a nice day out today and I figured I would toss on the new exhaust from Skunk2. Please excuse the dirty car as we are on water restrictions here in South Florida due to a "severe drought". I will sneak in a car wash soon though with some updated pictures.

The exhaust is great and I am really happy with it. You can read about it here: Exhaust

Enjoy the how to and feel free to PM me with questions.

Update to the afterthoughts....After a 1.5 hour trip...the exhaust sounds great...louder than stock. Not gross loud, but enough that the wife asked "Why does the car sound like this"...tried to keep it on the downlow with her but the bronze Work Emotions won't be subtle I suppose.

The tone, in case anyone is wondering is nice and deep and definitely not raspy or tinny, however, you could tell there is an aftermarket exhaust on it! I like the sound as it lets people know you are there. It isn't annoying by any means but isn't bone stock quiet. I did put the silencer in because we are leaving on a 3 hour trip this Memorial Day weekend. The dog is even coming with us! With the silencer, the decible level has significantly dropped and the silencer, like the rest of the cat back looks great.

Figured I would post an update! Hope you guys enjoy.

By the way...One thing I did note is I have had the Tanabe springs on for a while. However yesterday I swapped in the Skunk2's. My wife asked today after 2500 miles on the Tanabe's, and only 1 day on the Skunk's, "Did you lower the car?" So I guess it is a more substanial drop with the Skunk2's versus the Tanabe's.

About the video, maybe a no can do there. I don't really have anything to record sound right now at the moment.

And for the angle, yes, it comes out at a SLIGHT angle but nothing ridiculous.

You should make a thread of the DIY in the exhaust forum so we can sticky it.
