The K-Swapped Honda Fit Is a Brilliant Sleeper
...So for between $15,000 and $20,000, depending on options, TCS will find a donor Fit and deliver it to you as a turnkey K-swap car. That includes all of the engine stuff, plus the modified suspension geometry and custom-spec shocks that make the conversion such a joy to drive at speed. You can get as aggressive as you want with big-brake kits and JDM-spec aero pieces, but I think the best way to do it would be as a completely stock-looking car with plastic wheel covers. Think of it as James Taylor’s sleeper Chevrolet from Two-Lane Blacktop, or just think of it the way Seamus Erskine does: as the last vestige of a time when Honda was the enthusiast’s obvious choice.

So i was curious what you guys are doing for ecus? Im pulling my k20 and tranny out of a wrecked 03 civic si. Im going to be running boost. Hasport mounts, etc. My main focus is wiring for the ecu. Are you guys running two ecus or one? I can get through the immobilizer easily but id really like to just run one ecu

Very nice. I bet that thing is fun to drive and a total sleeper with those stock wheels and no exterior mods.

Definitely fun to drive. a lot more fun than the dc5 I had. That caught on fire at track day. Reason I got the fit now.
I do plan to add some wheels, probably group b wheels, js wing and splitter. That’s it as for as exterior. And some track time. Can’t wait to get it on track.

Which transmission are you running? I want to do a K24 swap myself in the future and the transmission is what I keep pondering on. I don't want to focus on making big power figures—I'd rather focus on making the car responsive (e.g., lighter flywheel, shorter final drive, aftermarket LSD, etc.)

K20z3 so it has the oem lsd. Honestly just some bolt ons, 3in exhaust, rbc and port it and the car is good as is. Really no need to add more power since the car is so light. I wanna focus on suspension to make it easier to handle on track like you are saying.
the rsx and having McPhearson was such a pain in the ass. Could never get it dialed in 100%.
