$2000 + Fit Mod Club!

Even though I'm NOT a member...
I simply don't invest at this level of "modding".
While it certainly appears it can be and become an expensive hobby and past time, it's innocent enough.
Obsession can come on all different levels.
I admit, I bought two sets of license plate frames, because I didn't like the first set I bought.
Plus it's taken 3 steering wheel cover purchases before I found one I liked.
Throw in the OEM cargo cover, and a cargo net, and I'm only about $1750 dollars away from picking up my membership card.
Who am I kidding?
My mods usually start and end in the automotive aisle at Wally World.

I'm roughly at $2.5k in mods right now. I plan on getting some suspension parts as a Christmas gift to myself and that'll put me around $3.5k after all is said and done. Still a bunch I want to do too.

I have spent very little on anything that doesn't enhance engine performance or handling.. I'm pretty sure that I have spent at least six or eight thousand on parts.. My wife recently discovered $2500 in stuff I had hidden under clothing in a closet..

I got my GK5 6MT about a year ago and I've kept it low-key but made it a pleasure to drive.
HKS Silent Hi-Power Exhaust: $310
Resonator Delete: $60
HPS CAI: $250
Swift Sway Bar: $180
RS-R Springs: $220
Sparco Trofeo Rims: $510
Rear 20mm Spacers: $40
Buddy Club Short Shift: $160
Sparco Piuma Shift Knob: $80
Honda All-Weather Floormats: $102
"Genuine Leather" Boot: $15
Aluminum Fit Pedals: $40
Bluetooth OBD Scanner: $60
Suction Phone Mount: $20
Puts me at $2,047 at the moment. I'm planning on doing an HID retrofit so that'll tip the scales further. I'm enjoying taking my totally base model fit and making it more luxury as well as faster (and louder )

I actually wanted to keep things UNDER 2k. I've failed, and over spent =\

Now when you hit the 10k club, you can officially use a moniker inspired by the Dark Lords of the Sith Order. =)
