Hi! Have you a bench test on this dragonfire coil ? I interested for high power ignition coil but I don't know result quality and perform on this product, thanks
Bench test no just installed set timing and it runs great! I Just have to rely on the specs from the manufacturer.
I had the pleasure of talking to the gentlemen that work at AIP and if there is any questions you want answered they'd be glad to talk with you.
Thanks for the reply I've been using this thread as a log of the the work done on the project and haven't heard from anyone here for a long time. :)
I can say the housing is powder coated red and really stands out. I painted the cap to match but that's just me. Thanks again!
Gone is the 3 belt pulley. got a new Honda N1 type R balanced pulley. I read bad things about the light aftermarket pulleys being unbalanced and wearing out the crank bearings.

Did you read any horror stories specific to Hondas? If so, could you provide a link? I've read on this subject to death but I still try to read new material if it's out there. I'm only interested if it is specific Hondas. I've read about other makes/models of cars. Thanks!
Good day in the shop, removed the door and lame bow hinge. Took door handle off and replaced the plastic handle with chrome.
Hopefully tomorrow we can get the passenger seat bolted down and door on and lined up ...

I was kinda surprised you still have this car. Thought you might have a new one in the works. It has been really interesting to follow what you do. Hmmm, maybe you will still have it when your daughter gets to driving age.

No sir this is a keeper. I got other projects about 4 since I started lil' red, so she got buried in the shop. But now Ben and I cleared the shop up it's time to get her back in the schedule.
Yes my baby girl will most definitely be driving this one it's her first project car with her daddy!

From start to stop hanging and adjusting the door was 3-4 hours. The front fender and side skirt are one with the 1/4 panel. The kit is a clean Wings West urathane and it's all molded in which is awesome but o man what a fun time to work on. Normally just remove the fender and hang the door, but not with my Lil' Red she's a real red head, with a tude!
The door panel is a custom piece and needed a freshing up on the back side.
And the passenger seat!
