What's even better is that it works in the center of the wire, so it makes it very easy to tap into it. Just grip anywhere on the wire and squeeze the handles. It will pull back the insulation from about 1/2" of wire.

Threw the Yakima RocketBox12 back on for upcoming roadtrips to Monterey, So.Cal, Yosemite. Need the extra room to pick up the new shoes stuck in Pomona.
Also added LED Front (switchback) bulbs and rear LED turn signal bulbs. Planning to do the load resistor mod this weekend.

Honestly, I'd like to say 30%+ in breaking responsiveness. Immediately felt the difference after the install. I haven't really tested during spirited driving conditions yet, still breaking in the new tires before I push it a little harder.

I installed a Buddy Club short shifter (about a week ago), then tonight I finished it off by putting on a threaded shift boot collar to keep the boot from flopping around.
I had to drill out the bottom of the collar a little bit to allow it to fit the over the shaft and sit a bit lower.

Thanks!
I originally had the boot held in place with a zip tie, but the bulky connector part was bulging through the boot.
It probably would have put a hole through it eventually, so I took it apart and tied a bunch of thread around. Very secure now.
