I have a 2017 LX with CVT. With the fan control dial rotated to "4" there does not seem to have a lot of air coming out of the floor vents when the mode control is dialed to "floor vents" Do I have a problem or that's the way it is?

usually floor vents also connect to the upper outer vents. might be the way it is. i dont remember, but id compare with the defrost+floor vent setting and see if there is any difference in the lower venting.

I found the dash vents work extremely well, but the floor vents air seem to trickle out. In the defroster mode, the same. Very little air comes out.
i think that's the way it is in this case. unless you got blockage. i dont remember the GK being a very foot well warm kinda car. seems like even with snow boots on my feet are cold in the winter while in the GK..
