We have the JDM center console as well. No other single thing improved the overall joy of driving the car as much as having an armrest and storage. It, however, was not a cheap or easy item to get. Had to be imported. Doubt they are available at all at this point.

Strangely enough though, ours has a different fabric for the armrest. I recall the console and lid being two separate parts. Maybe ours were ordered for different years or trim levels?

I've seen many variations in JDM consoles. Some with dark fabric and some leather. Some slide and some don't.
