FS...used K&N Typhoon (complete) for GE8!
I have my intake removed and available for sale! Reason being is because I'm trading the car in on a CR-Z and it doesn't work on that car, plain and simple. I've had that intake on the car for 23k w/o a single problem, ever! It comes VERY complete, including the directions and was cleaned and oiled about a month ago, so its ready to go.
I can honestly say that since removing it from the car I have noticed a drop in power and my trans doesn't shift as firmly as before, so it makes hp and torque for sure. I know that K&N says 4.53 whp which doesn't seem like alot, but when you don't have alot to begin with, that makes a difference for sure. The sound is very nice too, just enough to know there's something there. My car has a universal Magnaflow on it and with the two combined, it makes for a nice, aggressive sound that let's people know this Fit isn't stock but isn't "riced out" either, which is the way I wanted it to sound, couldn't be happier. I will be getting another K&N typhoon down the road for my CR-Z, along with another universal Magnaflow as well, don't mess with perfection I say
I noticed NO loss in MPG either, tested many times on freeway trips year round, so no worries there and again, during the winter monthes, no problems ever, solid performance.
My intake is for the Fit w/ the 5AT but I feel it could be used on the 5MT as well as others here have used it on their cars.
Ok, now that you know all about my intake and its history, here's the price, brand new it cost me about $250 total, so I'd like to get $125.00, plus S/H, so $150 total should cover it. I only wanna ship in the U.S. too.
I'd like to receive payment the "old school" way of check, even though I've got PayPay, I'd rather get a check if that's ok. FWIW I'm 41 years old and a good guy, your not dealing with some clown here, check my posts
BTW, I've got a Honda leather shiftknob for sale as well and its posted here too, check that out.
PM me if interested, thank you!
