Planning on doing a lot of snowboarding this season. Anyone trying to get rid of their roof rack for the GD3? Willing to pay for shipping and all.

 

Ill sell you my SARIS rack with 2 bike racks for $250 + shipping. You can fit a Yakima powder hund rack to it (I am going to keep my snowboard rack because it will work on my other rack). REI has a 20% off sale right now on all yakima and thule stuff.

 

did you ever see my roof rack link from costco? pretty good for the price but if this guy ^^ has everything you need that's a good deal. the costco one is 150 plus tax and I dont know how much snowboard racks would cost

@ryanroland costco's price for bars is decent. What set up do I need for it to fit the fit?

really? bummer, yeah it was #2 thats what I have and they are pretty nice and have a good fit, I modified a Yakima fairing to work with the square bars and Yakima ankle biter bike racks from craigslist for $40 for 2 such a steal.

yeah only sold out of #2, maybe it'll come back soon?

I really want to avoid dropping $500 on a new roof rack/snowboard holder. Almost as much as a spent on my snowboard set up!

 

I'd rather sell it as a unit, sorry. But if you just want to put in one snowboard, I just lay down the right rear seat, and slide it up along side the right rear door, and it curls around just around the lumbar support of the right passenger's front seat. No need for a roof rack unless you want it up there. I have put two boards down the side like this. Sometimes with/without bindings, but without keeps it a tighter package.
NOTE: dry your board before you stow it inside your car.

 

Yes, this is my first year getting a season pass or having my own board. I rented my gear last year but we drove up with 3 people in my car and 3 boards. We can easily do 3 people and 3 boards. The fit can fit a lot but if I want to bring 4 friends all the boards would have to be on the roof. If I can't get one for this season it wont be a huge deal.
