long time forum browser, first time poster... I have been looking into these two items for a while (though I could never decide between the CAI or SRI). Did you notice a significant performance difference with these installed and did you have the car tuned after installation?
I've been auto'xing and looking into tire/intake/header/exhaust upgrades for ole' fitty!

The CAI made the biggest performance difference. You'll get a lot more throttle response and a bit more top end. The header I won't say "added" any hp but it took a bit of torque and put it on the mid to top end 4-5k. The biggest difference with the header was the sound. It gives a real throaty, deep note to the exhaust. I have never had it tuned. My first tune will be in Georgia to up my boost a few psi.

I got the intake installed in about 45 minutes, and it sounds great!! was in excellent condition, and I am in love.. I took my wife out for a drive just so I could show here how to I was able to drive quietly and also make it growl all awesome like

someone pick up these headers before I convince my wife that I should spend another $150
