By 10mm, are you referring to the fastener industry standard of thread diameter, or are you referring to the size wrench you use on it? (There is NOT a standard that defines head size for a given thread size.) What thread pitch are these? Also, what length?
FYI the correct way to spec a metric bolt is (diameter in mm)" x "(thread pitch in mm)" x "(length in mm)
Example: 6x1.25x40 - a 6mm thread where the thread teeth are 1.25mm apart, with a length of 40mm.
Since I'm on the subject of fastener nomenclature, length is determined from the seating surface of the head - so for flat head, the length is from one end to the other, and for all other shapes the head is NOT included in the measurement.
(/dissertation)
Almost forgot - How is the color being applied? Is this an anodized finish, or is it something else?
(Not trying to flame here- just trying to get info to make an informed decision!)

While I appreciate the lesson on bolt sizes...its not needed, I said 10mm (reffering to the wrench used on the bolt) to make it simple for everyone who doesn't understand threads pitches etc. the bolts are M6x1.00.
Let's please keep this post on topic.

Not trying to get it off topic, just want the info... What length? Is the finish anodized?

Bolt length is 16mm which should be adequate for just about everything. I've tested the bolt length on my gfs fit and its worked great. The finish is a colored/clear anodized looking enamel. Hard to explain without showing you but, it can withstand up to 500 degrees and is resistant to oil and gas. Its tough stuff.

Absolutely, when I paid 146$ for a kit from gallery for 18 bolts and 18 washers, I decided something needed to be done. The profit margin on these kits is small, but I'd rather sell high quality at a decent price point than low quality at the same price point. I hope that there's enough interest in these that I can start buying heavily in bulk without worrying about being stuck with extra product.

Also interested. Purple or orange. Gotta put some girl in my car.
