It's like me calling "In & Out" and saying that they're alienating me for not having a location in Chicago and that it would be too costly to send my food from Cali to Illinois. Clearly, Chicagoans are not their client base. The same applies for you. You live in England. Sure, AJ-R is willing to ship it to you, but it'll cost you. This cost, essentially, makes you rule out AJ-R as a viable supplier of parts for you, thus excluding yourself from their client base.

They can't alienate a client-base that doesn't exist.

Also...the first post explicitly states that this will not be handled through PM's or emails or phone because AJ-R is closed for the holiday, which means that they won't be around to read your message.

Not trying to be mean, but them's the facts. 50% off is already eating up their profit margin, and I doubt they'd want to lose money on shipping to prevent losing One(1) person halfway around the world (who will likely never order from them again) from not ordering during the new year's sale.
Now I'm no rocket scientist but $420 to post any item is not accurate I would have bought the parts and still will provided that the postage is reviewed and I could still get the 50%. The simple fact is this USPS is seriously $%^^&^%^%&$% (self edited) or whoever you use over there to send stuff elsewhere. I work for a little company called Royal Mail and I'm also a manager within Royal Mail (who employ over 160,000 people) as a business we don't charge the same or even close to that to send items the other way i.e. from England to the states so that's what I don't get and the fact still remains that I could book a flight and go to the states for less and pick it up in person. I've already bought parts from the states before including my weapon-R intake manifold and the postage was very reasonable. I received my weapon-R race header from Hong Kong and the postage was $25 I've bought from Japan and, ... yes you've guessed it the postage was $22! So in a global market where most people are happy to take as many customers as they can... to charge this amount of money is wrong and if it's USPS that are responsible challenge them or at least offer alternatives.

Here's another thought I have products from T1R already and I too recognise the quality and want more the honda jazz/fit market isn't massive as it's specific to only a small group who inturn is limited to the few nutters that actually want to modify such a car. It would be no skin off their nose to target a neglected market in the UK or dare I say it outside of the US.

Ignorance is bliss
rant over

They're located in Canada so not sure why USPS is involved.

The point I was making is that the reason that they charge so much for postage is because the courier they use charges them a lot for postage, as well. And...as I stated before, I'm fairly certain that the "50% off" on the sale is eating their profit margins as it is. They may even be losing money on some items, but they want to move the merchandise and build rapport with more buyers. Also...another thing which I clearly stated (and was also stated in the 1st post veryveryveryvery clearly) was that there would be no way to contact them during the sale, as the offices were closed for the holiday, making your arrangement to travel and pick-up in person, an impossible option for the sale.

Also, AJ-R doesn't target any particular market. They will sell to you Brits and Afghans and Indonesians alike. However, they probably won't budge on shipping, especially since it's already 50% off for the items.
