for the 09 you will need a metra kit. this is just the unit itself.

its just that i dont need another stock radio and i have the new pioneer avic-z110bt which is a navi unit and dont need a amp and sub.

Out of curiosity, how do you protect this from theft? It does not appear to have a detachable face. I imagine it looks awesome installed, but I would never ever be able to leave that on the street in Philly or Baltimore.

 

maybe tint the windows really dark, alarm maybe. the way it is installed they would have to rip the whole hvac unit out to get it.

 

I can deal with people stealing shit from my car, but when someone breaks it apart to get stuff, that's over the top. That is why I prefer to have something detachable. I suppose these units do not offer that.

It's still sharp and has a lot of great features to it. It'd be perfect if I could take the face off.

 

yeah no detach on this one, but pioneer does offer the u310 which has smaller screen and is detachable for 625 i can get to you.
