New! Air Suspension (air ride/bags) setup! Who wants to be LOW???

Might be letting this go if someone bites on it. I might do air later. We'll see.

I think someone could use this.

This will work for both GD and GE cars (others as well). If you're on aftermarket coilovers, install will be straight forward for the front. If you're on stock struts you'll need to modify the spring perch to get low. The rear bag brackets are a little big, and may need modification to work. I did not mock up the rear, so not sure. It's straight forward install as well looking at the rear suspension (IMO). If you're planning on installing yourself, take your time, and nail the install, and you'll be trouble free.

Includes:

2x front - Universal Air Aerosport (bags over struts)
Front bag brackets
2x rear - Slam Specialties RE5
rear bag brackets (may need to be modified)
Viair 480cc compressor
3 gallon tank
Release valve
Water trap
Pressure switch
roll of 1/4 air tubing
Dual needle air gauge for bags (with blue LED)
Almost all the fittings, with extras "just in case"
Loctite for the fittings to insure a leak free connection (expensive sealant!)

You will need:

Valves (2 or 4 - i was going to run 2, if you're running 4 you'll need a several more fittings)
Switch box
couple more fittngs (1/4" female to 1/4" push to connect)
Air gauge for tank

That's it!

Looking for $1500.

Local pick up preferred in Norcal.

Will ship @ buyers expense, paypal + 4%.

I agree I think Air would be the finishing touch on this. besides a few minor details.

Im just so unsure about it (reliability wise). I've heard horror stories and have heard nothing but praise. so im kinda 50/50 all my xB buddies who have it have had only minor problems (leaks faulty valves). Im more scared of blowing a bag especially since I drive kids I coach every now and then to tournaments etc...I beginning to banter.

bump cause Im on the fence and I want some to buy it before i do haha

Trav, just make sure you absolutely nail the install and you'll be fine. You can probably get it really close to leak free on the initial install, then when you have time to get under the car again, fix the leaks. As long as you get good valves you should have to worry about leaking/sticky valves. All the leaks I know of were from faulty fittings, that didn't have loctite on them.

If you want to play it safe, buy an extra front and rear bag - I personally know of several people who've been running bags forever and have been trouble free. One guy can leave his compressor off for like 2 weeks because there's absolutely no leaks.

99% of bag failures are due to bad installs.

Is this not as good then since the airrunner is $3000? I'm looking into getting bagged pretty soon too. Or should I boost first...or bodykit first... lol

I think the air runner systems are awesome. Great name, ride awesome, system already designed for you, comes with everything, tons of users with good reviews, and its easy to install as it's a one piece design.

The problem with air runner though (strictly my opinion) is that besides it being kinda up there in price, is that it's one piece. If something goes wrong, you're kinda SOL...if that makes sense. If you need to replace a strut or a bag, it's not the same as one off kit.

Now don't get me wrong, I would rock the hell out of an air runner kit in a heartbeat. When you're doing a build, an air runner system will mos def push you over the top - baller status!
