Okay, here's the REAL deal with dank24; he's a no-show. Plenty of talk, no action.

I offered to purchase his items at his set price; no haggling, just a simple "yes ok."

First, there was a "death in the family". I've heard that one before, not just once but several times. But hey -- it's wheels and tires, and the price is fair, and he's reasonably local, and I want them, so I figure what the hey and let it pass.

Next, it's "I'll be in your area where we can meet." Okay again, so I spend the time to figure out and send dank24 the oh-so-easy-off-on-from-the-turnpike-so-that-it-does-not-inconvenience-mister-dank24-too-much, after all he's just had a death in the family. AND, here is my home AND cell number so I know when to meet dank24. He promises to call when he is ready to leave, so we can meet. I plan the middle of my day around it, SO WHAT if I have a houseful of family for the holidays.

Yep, you guessed it. No call, no meet. dank24 did not call, did not email, did not IM. Must have been that death in the family. (I think I'm beginning to understand why there are so many.)

I'm too old, and time is far, far, too precious, to give 3 strikes to a guy like this. So I'm out. Anyone who wants these wheels and tires can have them, and good luck to you.

Hey, I was trashed friday night, and I didn't even end up driving to philly that saturday. If you did not get a call from me, why would you even show? Seriously? And anyway, none of my auto's will ever be repossessed cause I do not fiance cars. I put them on the debit card.


Anyway, if you want to meet today, that is fine.

 

What made you think I showed up? I just rearranged my day so that I would be able to, which was a bit of a trick due to all the folks who were visiting.
