front license plate

front license plate

its almost football season and i want to get a plate for the front of my car. But we dont use the front plate here in Florida so i guess thats why the dealership didnt give me one. If you have one and want to get rid of it let me know

nasty bumper hole!

Generally the front plate holder requires a big hole to be drilled in the middle of your bumper. If your state does not require a front plate it would be a good idea to avoid the holder, and thus the ugly hole, like the plague!

The front license plate kit does not require any drilling of the bumper.

If you look in the black grille you will see that is where the two holes are for the mounting kit.

The the OP, I think I still have mine because I removed it the first day I got the Fit. I will check when I get home from work.

I have one kicking around somewhere that you can have for the cost of shipping. It took it off first thing when I pulled in the garage after coming home from the dealer when I bought the car. I don't reccomend putting a front plate on though because it will dull/scratch the paint behind it. Plus I think it ruins the look of the front end. I refuse to live in a state that requires them...
