Would GooGone work as good as wd40? I need to buy some fishing line. Is it safe to just floss it off with line without using a blowdryer? Atticus hold that red dot badge for me, I'll take it for $22 shipped I can pay sometime this weekend, just send me a paypal invoice

ok cool on the hold, floss breaks to easy, hairdryer is cool to soften tape. goo should work.

I heard floss leaves wax and stuff, and yes goo gone is safe and probably works even better than wd40, I just always had wd40 on hand. it's really very simple to remove the letters, just tie loops on either end of the fishing line(I just found an old tackle box and cut off what was left on a hook, 8 inches or so) for your fingers to go into, then basically saw it off.

and instead of a blowdryer you can just leave the car in the heat for 15 minutes.

make sure you don't pull up(like towards you, out from the car), though, if you're taking off the letters, I hear they break off.

K I used fishing line to remove the badge. Afterwards I realized I only needed to take the blue dot off...I am a dumbass sometimes lol. Anyway I think I'll leave it badgeless for a while. When I sawed it off, it left mostly all that sticky residue, and it took using googone 3 times and scrubbing with a terrytowel and my weakass nail. There are some surface scratches now. Any easy way to remove them? I really oughtta stop messing with my ride lol first I blew a fuse with the cargolight, now scratches lol

naw, I'm liking the badgeless look for right now lol I'll rock it for a while. Sorry bro. You know if Scratch-X would work for something like hairline scratches?

eh, the scratch-x did just dandy I have a hood scratch that won't come out, it's a bit deeper. The solution to that is a 8.8lb CF hood of course lol

Is their any significance for a blue dot or red dot on the "i" on a fit badge?
