lol the actual process is:
1. Remove as much as possible with electric scrapper.
2. Use manual hammer and chisel to remove deadening from inbetween grooves and cracks.
3. Heat remains up with torch and use scrapper to remove.
4. soak further remains with paint stripper for 10 mins.
5. use an ass ton of paper towels to pick crap up.

then repeat in next area

i hate this crap.

Hey man. I don't have them yet but hardrace makes everything you listed. I will be ordering soon.

I removed all the sound deadening from my civic (used the dry ice method and wire wheel)...I also saved every ounce in a bag and weighed it. The grand total was only 28 lbs. This is a high effort, low yield endeavor....especially when you consider that this removes weight from low in the car, raising the roll center.

Do you ace any idea how much the cage weighs? It would be badass to get one made out of titanium...

#3, bright trim always "pops" on silver. If it was a daily driver, I'd go bronze, but for a racer - go neon!

Do your mirror caps too, for full racer effect. Even the rear-view.

I love it when a team fields multiple cars in the same color and does the mirrors different on each car, so you can pick out your fave driver if the numbers are obscured in the shot.
