This is my Auto X/Race/DD set-up... I absolutely LOVE this set-up the car is active, feels alive, and just wants to grip grip grip...

Any questions? hahahah
very nice brother! bravo! quick question, where and how in the fawk did you get those RS3s? i thought they were nationally sold out! thats why i just got R comps hahahaha. i need to grab some RS3s now so they dont sell out and save my R comps!

1st off Mike410b & 555sexydrive Thanks for the great comments !!

@ Apexanimal & JC – they are 15x7.5 et 42 … legal width in SCCA ST Class… with about -1.6~1.8 camber on Skunk2 Pro C’s with 6k front springs… there is maybe 5/16" between the top of the tire and the coil over springs... very tight. AND it only rubs on big full on compression like big dips on freeway (which I avoid) BUT not when I Auto X or full steering lock !!!! .. and I still have not rolled my fenders or removed liner (fender clip is loooooong gone)

JC - I got these on the SCCA Forum For Sale section some random dude had two new tires for sale and I swiped them up pretty quick (about 6hr from posting)

My impression of this tire is GAAADDDD DAMMMNNN... hahaha… I will never race with a non-staggered set-up again. 225 front + 205 rears + proper suspension tuning = WINNING COMBO!!! My Fit has been corner balanced + negative toed + cambered.

I have driven on Advan AD08 (205/50) and Dunlop Star Spec (195/55) ... and nothing grips like these, they are wide, fat, sticky, and love abuse I have yet to race them in the dry (2 events in the rain) but back road driving (at 80%) is sooo much more fun and confidence inspiring. They are better a bit hot and like low psi (32-33)… and the 205 Toyo R1R are a great complement tire. But I honestly think the Hankooks 140 treadwear rating is over estimated because they are wearing out much faster than any of my previous tire.

Before my car would understeer as the front tires lost grip then the rear would start to slide as I fought the front, now it’s just grip grip grip… I had to install a 4 point harness to stay in the OEM Seat during racing… Now I did notice more body roll due to the grip but I can’t do anything else to fix this without being outlawed in SCCA ST Class or increase spring rate and lose daily drivability… But I would love to install extended lower ball joints to fix this issue. Regardless I think the Fit suspension is done. Now the brake need more aggressive pads to deal with the higher rolling mass, have EBC Yellows might switch back to Hawk HP+.

i dunno if this has been mentioned but jc got custom spring rates from skunk2 and it sounds like your rolling on the standard spring rates for the system they offer. I would suggest going up on ur spring rate by 2kg front/rear. still have your DD capability but massively better. jc has +4kg front/rear (i think) and DD it and its rough but not really all that bad...or as bad as i expected. just think about calling skunk2 and gettin those higher spring rates...i imagine you wont regret it

Well right now I'm rocking 6k (S2 optional softer fronts) springs in the front and 6k in back... I have been playing with the idea to go 8k (which i have) in the fronts but not sure...

But Gf complains about the bouncyness as is, and my back feels it after a +3hr road trip... Maybe im just getting old hahahaha

Well see... If I do it I'll get back to u.

Hey man i got the wheels mounted today and they look awesome. I am currently having some issues with my tpms sensors giving me a light on my dash, Im hoping its not because they are incompatible with these wheels but more an issue of me just needing a service kit for them...

i dont recall if your fit is an 07 or 08 but if you had sensors swapped into these, did you encounter problems?
