2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe (facelift)

Lol, it's a challenge to find anything original with a Hyundai except maybe their marketing and price range. :-)

IMO everyone copies everyone to some point and I guess I don't see why anyone doesn't like the new front end on the Genesis coupe', its a great lookin' car, too bad Honda and Toyota don't have the "balls" to get back into the game and yeah I know about the FT-86, we'll see how it goes when it comes out but Honda has NOTHING but a FWD sports car coming back out in the Beat?
If you stop and look at Hyundai and Kia, they've got some very distictive lookin' cars on the road right now, honestly, would you rather drive an Accord or the Kia Optima turbo, seriously?
BTW, the Velostar get's 40 mpg w/o using hybrid tech, kinda makes me think about my current choice in cars a bit. It gets 30/40 whereas my car is rated at 31/37 but does get much, much better than that for sure. I've gotten almost 44 mpg on the freeway and have gotten a tad over 44 mpg with mixed driving, so that's pretty good. It seems that those numbers are low, just like the Fit.

I would much rather drive the Accord than the Optima, it's not even close. Hyundai and Kia use cheap materials in their cars and they always end up looking like crap. My ex-girlfriend had an '09 Santa Fe and within a year and a half the paint was peeling off of the front grill and the leather on the seats, armrests and steering wheel was wearing out. I had a Kia Rondo as a rental once and when you put your head on the headrest you can feel it pushing back on you through the seat. It's true that they are better looking than they once were but to me they are still a very long way away from something I could take seriously.

The current Gen Coupe is actually a pretty nice drive. Not sure about the hood on the first post, the front seems busy. Will wait to see it in person though.
As for the interior, one of our customers wrapped a lot of it in our Carbon Fiber Wrap to great effect ;)

Looks like Hyundai reads this forum because they took my suggestion, looks like the 2.0T is getting a twin scroll turbo charger putting out 271hp and 271 ft/lbs of torque. The 3.8 V6 is getting a hp bump to 345hp and 295 ft/lbs. Pretty sweet I think, at least they're trying to attract buyers.
