2006 Miata... should I get it?

It's got 32,000 miles on it, the dealer is asking $14,500.

My Fit is a 2007, has about 33,000 miles on it. What do you think I could get on a trade in?

Before you buy search mazda usa site for 2009 leftovers click on model and use dropdown to find 09's . They have a 4500 rebate and are selling at or below invoice. I just traded my 06 for an 09. If you can find a touring with a suspension package expect to pay about 20K. Touring gets you a 6MT and 17 in wheels SP gets you LSD and bilstein shocks, best $ 500 option out there. They are great cars and the improvements since 06 are subtle but worth it.( tighter suspension better radio and smiley grill) I love my Fit but the Miata lets you get a tan as well.
Good Luck

There should be an 09 red one at Perrys in SB and a sivler one with less options in san jose . Take a test drive and decide for yourself. Fit great for carrying stuff and extra people. Miata gives you that old time sports car feel without the mechanical issues. Plenty of room in trunk for weekends away and packages. MPG around thirty if you don't beat it. I have both so I guess I have the best of both worlds, Let me know if you have any questions.

I had the luck of working nights at an auto auction years ago. The Mazda Miata is in my Personal Top 3 Cars I've Ever Driven. A pure driver's car. Honda S2K and BMW M Roadster round out my list.

miata's are AWESOME best convertible for the price WITH a trunk.

s2000 feels small in the interior and the aftermarket support for miata is huge and much cheaper then the s2000.

it is a poor man's convertible but that is what makes it so much fun. cheaper aftermarket parts =)
