b16b was built better. only two engines were hand built by honda. nsx engines and civic type r (b16b) engines.

but im saying performance wise, it's not the best. IMO

still prepping the inside. just got the new timing belt on the engine and its all put together. probably going to drop the engine into the car within the next few days to make sure it sits correctly. also going to have my buddy weld the gas door shut, drill a hole in it and put one of these in there so it will be easier to fill up my fuel cell.

i was under the impression all 'r' engines were hand assembled...good bit of info

i started school, im waiting on a few bolts to put in the engine and to get my buddy to pound out some dents in the body. i havent even touched the car in two weeks. ill get back to it soon tho.

haha, the car is so damn light that it started teetering on the jackstands when we were putting the engine in, so we had to throw a 5 gallon bucket of silicon sealant and a bag of concrete to counter the weight. it was almost disasterous.


but.......THE ENGINE IS IN!!

probably not but i am going to clean up the engine harness and re wrap it. i dont need tucked wires. its a track car not a show car.
