Farewell to a car

So there was a post about how you "christen" a new car... well I just sold my ek! that means I can now go get my fit :) problem is that I have the car for 1 last night before it gets picked up and I get the rest of my money... I can't resist driving it so whats the best "farewell"? any ideas?

Yep, pamper the car. Driving it hard is tempting, but God knows what misfortune can happen in the time between that final drive and the turnover to the buyer. Best to avoid any mishaps I think. :)

i usually roll all my windows up and fart in it just one last time. then take the car out and drive it like you stole it. ahhh, the memories.

ya I ended up doing that for a bit. then I came home and couldn't take it anymore so I went cruising for a couple hours... now the suns coming up again...

I bought the Fit on a Friday, and picked it up on the following Monday. Over the weekend, I washed and waxed the old Neon, washed down the engine bay and detailed the interior. To me, it was sort of like saying goodbye to an old friend.

I also figure that if I turn in a clean, detailed car to the dealer, they will see how careful I am with my cars, and treat my new one the same way. It doesn't always work, but that's my hope.
