Farewell Fellow Fit-Freaks!

For the first time in 3 years, I am no longer a Fit owner.

I really loved my 2 Fits, and they won me back to the Honda fold, but I think I've found the car that is more suited to my driving wants and needs.

It's the Fits newest sibling:

I wanted something a little easier to drive, with great mileage, cargo versatility and more comfort and luxury than the Fit provided.

I'll always still love the Fit and appreciate others who like them.

I've only had it for 2 days, but it is really fun to drive and has lots of entertaining features and gadgets.

Several things in it remind me very much of the Fit/Civic: the front view, steering wheel/cruise controls/mirrors. In general the "Hondaness" of the car.

I notice on the paperwork it said it was made in Suzuka, Japan just like my Fit.

Well, I hope I can still retain my membership here. I really like this site!

Congrads on your new car and hope you have a great experience with the Insight - it is a really a sweet looking ride. I had to take the Fit in for its state inspection on Friday and got to look them over at the dealership. I hope the car will give the Prius some competition and kick its you know what! Go Honda! Stay in touch with us Fit Freaks and let us know how it goes.

Love the Insight, it's the first hybrid that I don't want to run off the road for existing. I dig the front fascia, looks great especially with no front plate.

Hybrid is a very smart choice but not for me. Hope your decision was permanent this time. :D

It definitely should remind you of your Fit, because it is built on the same chassis. Congratulations on your new car.

oh awesome! I didn't think I'd like it, but I do. It keeps the old Insights' looks a little.

Be sure to let us know what the REAL Insight MPG is. I have faith that it's more than EPA.
