Has anyone seen the new supercompact car from Toyota?
The Toyota iQ is a realy small car. But when in the drivingseat it feels larger than it is. The cabin feels like a normal car when you look forward. But the rear seats has only space for one adult and one child :)

But it looks butt ugly. The front looks like a bulldog...

The cargobay is a joke, if you are lucky you can put in a pen there. The glovebox is not a box but a bag made of a neopren like fabric...
It come with a 1.0L/68hk gas engine or you can get a 1.4L/90hk diesel engine. But the car only weights around 900kg.

yup, been reading about this car since its press release. it'll probably come to the USA as a Scion and get a 1.8L engine and bigger front/rear bumpers 'cause bigger is better in the good 'ole U-S of A.... sigh.

i would much rather have the 1.4 diesel + 5spd

looks small.. and this is a good thing.. it will make you park on tight space..

 

I like it. I don't care if they badge it as a Scion, Toyota, or Japanese Bulldog Car...I can see a place for it.

 

I think the iQ will probably eat the Smart brand for lunch. It'll be less expensive, drive better, cost less, and seat three.

Scion needs SOMETHING new/fresh to sell, and the iQ will probably be it.

I think it looks awesome! all you need is some wheels, tint, and slammage.


why cant we get rear disc if this damn thing does!
