KTM X-BOW - The first car from KTM

both are just as funny looking....but the atom 500 would eat that thing at the track...under 3 seconds 0-60mph...under 7 seconds 0-100mph...and can pull well over 1.3 g's in a turn

that is one engine option....they have everything from a 240hp k20 to a 300hp k20 to a 2.4liter v8 that makes over 500hp at 10,000 rpm

i would go with the k20 and then tune that thing to pump out 600hp .....

that would definately kick the v8 in the balls.

still wouldnt make the torque the v8 would...besides if you pumped the v8 up you could make more power then the k20 could...but this car is balanced...to much power in a track car is a bad thing mmmkay

driving really fast in a straight line does not qualify as racing. same with driving in a circle. track racing requires real skill and balance.

yup...but any one of the three you listed can kill you
when i was drag racing back in 07 had a friend who drove a turbo honda die from a tire blowout at about 160mph...car shook so hard it beat his brain to death....straight line can kill too...
just trying to keep a high hp car on a straight path isnt as easy as you think...

im into building and working on cars...doesnt matter what the car does...just looking at the car for what its worth...someone put a lot of time and money into real track cars...doesnt matter what the purpose of the car is i still appreciate it...there is a lot of cars i look at and stand in awe....i spent over 5 years working on my civic si to get it where it is today and have enough money into it that i could have bought a really high end sports car....but what ive learned building that car and all the hours of enjoyment it gave me driving it and working on it is priceless....but i still understand where your coming from...i dont hate any sport you can do with a car....

holy sh*t a v8 engine, in that tiny little car, i dont think im that good of a driver on the track, even a boosted k20 would feel crazy...id be scared if the car's front end started to lift up with that much power, 600 hp on a 1000 lbs frame....that's just nuts
