this is the worst decision honda ever made

i was looking forward to the new S2000, the new NSX (which sounded insanely nasty)
and the CR-Z
all hopes are gone,

Honda: The Power to Kill Dreams :(

You should have known it was coming with them pulling out of F1. I mean look at all motorsports right now:

Subaru pulled completely out of WRC, which was their bread and butter
Honda pulled out of F1, which was their bread and butter.

I can only see the "big 3" pulling out of Nascar next.

So far, all that Honda has confirmed is the demise of the NSX, the rest of this is still rumour... and FYI the article doesn't say that the CR-Z is canned, just the convertible variant.

yeah but that's only in japan dude

they're killing off about 90% of what the States was looking forward to.

i mean Honda sales have never really been a problem

the civic, fit, and accord sell

nsx and s2000 are meant to be at the top of the pyramid

now seeing as the TL-S and FD2 Civic being the top of the pyramid for Honda/Acura.......things aren't looking good.

expect to see prices on NSX and S2k's skyrocket due to their 'rarity' now

yeah i'm aware of that. point is, the parts will still be based of cars that are available in the states, and so you will still be able to benefit from them.

...

woo how is that for optimisum? ha! yeah this does kinda suck though.

but if honda does revert back to cars that are easy(er) to mod with lower cowls, and lighter weights (which they are fairly light now, fairly) like they used to be in the 90's, maybe all will be forgiven.

Sucks but the Fit Hybrid is not coming to the US :(, even if are misleading us to sell more Insights the Fit Hybrid wont reach use til the next model change in 2014 but official reports say the US gets the HCH, Insight and CR-Z only.

i think honda is always ahead of the curve. they know that the internal combustion engine is going to be dead technology soon and they are just plain smarter than all the other auto makers. remember, when the forrest burns down, it grows back twice as lush.
