Smart

Thinking about getting another job to buy me a smart to have in addition to my Fit sport09. anyone have opinions on the Smart car?

I like 'em but I'd rather spend the same cash on a Mini Cooper S

mini S start at like 20k , smarts start at around 12k, thats a pretty big difference.

When gas was around $4, Smarts were high teens low 20s....they'll get back up there just watch

You already have a car that gets good gas mileage. Why do you want a car that is impractical and a bit unsafe for the sake of a couple more mpgs?

Overpriced for what you get and what it does. Getting one is more of a statement about... something.

smart cars are for middle age secretaries that wanna be hip in this new age world but still eat ben and jerry's alone on the couch while watching titanic.
just get a honda cbr600rr for great mpg and speed.

2 Year 24K mile warranty... No thanks. Highly unlikely it'll be $12K. Like posted above, I've seen them close to or above $20K. Get a Ducati instead.

well yeah but it's amazing how well the smart car holds up in my opinion. definitely changed how i felt about their safety
