Toyota Ractis "tall wagon"
Toyota today announced the new Ractis "tall wagon" model for JDM sales:

What makes this model interesting is that this could become the basis for the successor to the Scion xA. I can see Toyota offering this model in the USA in Federalized form with both five-speed manual and CVT-7 automatic under the Scion xA name.

Quite possible....but I still perfer the "car-like" look of the current xA as opposed to the wagon look. That's my only real gripe with the Fit. Being so tall, it looks more mini-vanish. At least it doesn't look like the xB. And being a Honda, I'll still perfer it over the xA...

I still guess that this will replace the Scion xA, mostly because while a lot of people like the roominess of the Scion xB they're off-put by the funky styling of the xB; besides, it would certainly sell a lot more than the current xA model.

nice! when will this get to the usa? I really like how the designers blended the retro/future lines together! To offer a panoramic roof is brilliant because not only does it add a bigger exterior look but also "opens" up the interior space as well..I love it when car mfr's show some "balls" in executing unique designs.. Another thing I like and any 91 Integra, 91 and 93 civic hatchback can attest to.. Is that no other part of the car recieves as much solar torture as the roof..Every Honda I have owned which has been 15 total at one time...the clear coat on the roof will begin to lose there clearcoat..the glass roof nicely avoids that inevetability
