true i have not. sorry for sounding harsh, i'm just being blunt.

i agree, if you go to a forum of that particular car, you will find biased masses. (see the thing with the fit is that it reallly IS the best car in its class, so you don't have to worry about it.;) )

if i was shopping for something in that price range, i'd probably get a nice audi rs4, or the new m3. but if it was between the g37 and the lexus, i would probably get the lexus as its looks appeal to me more. but if i got the lexus i'd be wondering why i didn't just get the bmw, as it is a slightly better performer. AND i can get it with a automated manual if not shifting is your thing.

go to edmunds.com/insideline and you can find great reveiws on all the cars you mentioned and they wont be biased. just run a search for them by name and anything that says its a road test or full test is what you'll want to read, then as a second thought, read the first drives.

and your civic will fetch you more dough if you sell it yourself, simply because you have aftermarket parts that will actually decrese the value. you need to find someone who was looking to do that already and they'll probably give you what you ask if the price is right.

hope that helps man.

Her friend works at an insurance place so we might me able to get some hookup. I would put it under my parents name but the house is under their names, so if i was to get into an accident then they would take the house. Evo9 although it is a sport car the insurance is much cheaper than the g37, i was quoted somewhere from 210 to 250 a month.
WOW:rotfl: :rotfl:

But seriously, if you have the money (who cares where you got it from) why not get the Lexus?

Oh, and the Lexus under your sister's name is still 600/month too?

reason why they were jerks because that car cost 50gs+ you're what between 18-20. Probably have to get preapproved credit to even step foot in the car. But if you're parents are willing to give you 20gs, take that to the dealership and slap it in their face. LOl GL when you get the ISF post pics.:D

I'll take a EVO over G, just because it snows here and it'll be more fun. :D

i know funny huh. That was my first reaction as well. After I heard from some people than I thought it could be real, better be safe than sorry. As far as the insurance for the lexus goes, i haven't check on it yet. 600-700(not clear) was if it was under my name:(. If i dont get the lexus i would be happy with either the evo9mr or g37. ill post some pictures once I get it.

Go test drive all the cars look at the forums for each and do more looking into each. But if i had the money it seems that u and ur parents have i would get the EVO9 sick car. Great for turns and good in a straight line.

Obviously the ISF is the best choice. I thought you ruled it out due to insurance cost. In that case, I suggested the G37. However, if you live in a snowy climate, and don't have a car specificaly for winter, then I feel the Evo is the best choice. You should be able to make these decisions on your own though. I would feel guilty if you listend to my advice, and then have it end up the wrong choice because I didn't know you lived in a snowy climate or something. Come on man, figure this out on your own.

Also, whoever said take the $ and invest it in proporty or other investmenst...I 100% agree. If this is a once and a lifetime deal....be smarter than to waste it on a car. However, it seems your family is very weathy. In that case, don't worry too much....but you still wanna be smart about $. Espescially with our current economy.

Good luck man.

I just simply don't get the bias toward the IS-F whatsoever... The hood bloat makes it look pregnant, it sounds like an american V8, and beeps for EVERYTHING. The M3 has years of heritage behind it... it's a BMW M! It is arguably one of the best handling coupes out there right now, has a much better interior, the engine note is euphoric, and the list goes on and on. Yes I know it gets an "off the scale" for the cock-o-meter from top gear, but who cares?

What's in a name? When you spend over a certain amount of money it becomes everything. Honda and BMW have been in formula 1 for ages, and it shows... nearly all of their cars handle very well if not excellent. Toyota joined it in 2002 as a marketing gimmick more than anything, they could care less about it, other than to make money and own the world. Toyotas as a general rule, with the exception of the MR2, the Supra, some Celicas and little else, tend to feel like you're just along for the ride and just suggesting where the car should go. Don't even get me started about them being in NASCAR, they sold their soul to the devil when they did that. But seriously, please name me another Lexus you'd wanna take around Nurburgring other than the IS-F and upcoming LF-A?
