My friend in San Diego owned one of these in the late 80's. It looked just like this one. A Japanese student orginally imported it and it was crudely federalized. We were just talking about it the other day and he mentioned that they added a brace in the door and the brace was so flimsy that it eventually just fell to the bottom of the door. He later sold it to another friend of ours. I had a chance to buy it about 10 years ago, but at the time I thought $5k was alot. I kick myself now for not getting it. He figured his car was making about 125 hp after raising the boost, and I believe this weighed under 1900 pounds. It was a fun drive. Any way, just found this ad for the car that played in Japan.
