Haha I always kinda disliked the fact that the paddle shifters turned with the wheel but looking at the MCR R35 makes me kind of proud of the Fit now. :b
(EDIT) Wait, that means the MCR one is an automatic, right? :o

All R35 GTRs are automatic. None are made in manual format. The transmission they have in it is so quick on shifting, there is no point for a manual version of the new GTR. It would be sweet to be able to shift though.

lol...was there supposed to be a "winner" you'd have to be nutz to pass on that road lol. The r35 fer sure kept up perry amazingly considering it's stock :P ...and weighs prolly 1/2ton over the rx7. Unless of course taht rx7 was also stockish/no weight reduction either.

the car chasing is the winner if it keeps up; if front car pulls away = front car wins.

they kept together all 3 times which...yea, made no sense as to the "winner" being the rx7
...nm after watching it again the rx7 did pull away a bit in the 3rd run. 1st and 2nd though, both cars stayed about the same distance most of the race. iono, whatevs.

The RX7 was from RE Amemiya and it was one of their race cars. The MCR only has done was: changed steering wheel for a racing steering wheel, replaced the front seats with bucket Bride seats, Takata harnesses, Endless Mono 6 racing calipers and Endless two piece rotors, Enkei Racing GTC01 in 19", and full Titantium exhaust from ARC. I can't wait to see a company take the motor apart and try to build that for more power and start replacing more parts with CF or kevlar.

(and im sure a lot of folks will agree) prefer MT for the fun factor, not
just how quickly and consistently it can shift. who cares how fast it
can run on street anyways... especially if it's only 'partially' fun.

you see, that's missing the point by nissan. some people like me

it's their only way of eliminating human error to get faster lap times at the track....take the skyline's Nurburgring record for example
it's standard for bragging rights to make nissan look better
i believe the porsches records that were beaten were from a 6sp porsche
