2008 Mini Cooper Jcw Edition
:wavey: Hey Everyone-
The Mini John Cooper Works is back — and with 218 horsepower it is wilder than ever. Revealed here in the first official photographs prior to its first public outing at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show, the new range-topping Mini has been thoroughly reworked for 2008. It features an upgraded turbocharged 1.6-liter engine, revised chassis tuning, distinctive body kit and plush new interior helping to set it apart from lesser second-generation Mini models...enjoy

Always liked mini's. Test drove a couple before I got my Fit. Three reasons I went with the Fit:
1) More room. (dang those mini's are small)
2) Better MPG.
3) Long term ownership. (I tend to own cars for a very long time, Honda's tend to last longer with a cheaper maintenance cost. Mini's after 10 years can be a handful. I had my Integra for 17 years before I sold it, if that is any indication)
Props to the JCW though, if any of you folks in SoCal get one, I want a ride. :D

Well, the current BMW Mini has only been on the market since 2002; no doubt that the original Minis were a handful after 10 years, and probably even less. Still, betting on Honda longevity is likely to be the safer bet.

i worked in valet parking and i have drove a couple of Mini's. I really love em, because theyre small, but they handle like a big car. Although, that new look of the current one is not the best ive seen. I prefer the previous stiling.

I liked the first model years better. They have went more towards luxury and farther from driving over there short life in the states. They just felt better when you were driving and you felt more in tune with the road imo. I have driven sport's, base's, clubman's, and convertables models from 02 all the way up to include a clubman S and im still stuck on the first ones. The JCW kits are pretty sweet and all but the one i would buy if i had the cash would be the 2006 JCW GP. That was imho Mini's best car thus far:D. Good luck trying to get your hands on one though. haha
