95 honda Odyssey starts and cuts off when I let go of the key
Hi I have a 95 Honda Odyssey and a few months ago it started this thing
where it cuts off when I let go of the key. and then last week it started
doing it every time I started the van then after about 10 times it would
stay running until last Monday it wont stay running any more,,But If I
hold the key in place I can drive it. (I dont drive it like that but I had
to park it like that.) Any way I am trying to figure out what is causing
this problem and how much it will cost to fix it.
Thanks

its the ignition switch. dunno if that particular year/model was
involved in the recall, but my 98 civic was.

At first I thought you meant that you are holding the key in
the"Start" position, but I think you are trying to say that you just
hold some pressure on the key and it runs but as soon as you stop
pushing on the key, it dies. If this is correct, the ignition switch
is bad.
