1990 Accord LX, manual transmission
Whenever my car has been parked in the sunshine, and the temperature is
above 80*, it doesn't start easily. It turns over, and eventually,
will start, but I'm baffled by this anomaly, and concerned that one day
it just won't start at all. What should I fix?

Resolder the main relay.

When it does that, turn the key to position II, smack the dash on the
left side of the steering wheel, you'll hear the fuel pump run for about
three seconds. The 'fix' is to get the main relay resoldered.
The answer is found here, under 'starting / running problems'

Re: 1990 Accord LX, manual transmission
That was exactly the case with my Accord 1993 Manual last year.
Mechanic told me he thinks it is distributor coil. I did not have it
fixed because winter started and problem resolved. This summer the
problem has not appeared yet. Please let me know when you have it
fixed.
Thank you
